Did you ever feel like something is just horribly just slightly off in your life. I mean, I've been feeling I've been doing all the wrong stuff the last few years and need to get back to...somewhere...else...

i would think at one point in time everyone has. it's called being human.

as in human being?

I think that if you didn't ever feel like that, you would remain stagnant in your life and never grow.

felt that way a lot before becoming a Christian. Still feel that way at times, it's not like life gets any easier...I have things to look forward to now & have hopes much larger than greater as the basis for peace of mind. All part of a less-than-perfect world my friend. Hope you feel better.

What kind of wrong things have you done in life?
- Point50
here's how to get over that feeling:
• stop drinking
• budget your money
• get outside and discover nature
• stop bangin a different girl every month (or week, or day)
• stop treating people like shit
• read some books
• work out
• eat right
• have a kid (whether adopted or thru traditional mean)all the above will help show you the path to what life is really about. Sure, it might not be as fun, but it works.

I felt like that until I realised there isn't some life after death... and that in the amount of years I've got left I should make the most of it... before I get buried and rot

this would be true even if there turned out to be an afterlife, as probably no web design would take place there

(Aug 21 06, 10:27)That would make many people even more depressed, I would imagine- no afterlife to look forward to...no thanks. I still believe in making the most of it, because what I do now will have an impact after I'm gone, in this world & the next.

Da Vinci believed a great life will lead to a great afterlife, and vice versa.
There was a time during medieval days where people thought afterlife was living in a black box for all over eternity. Moral was very low.

or just bow down to all of societies conventions and surely 'happiness' will come knocking at your door... the proliferation of life is all we need to feel like we've made a difference...
