Can't take that on a plane you know...

People years later would tell me how if it wasn't for me they would have had a nervous breakdown, and thanked me for being a pillar during such trying times.
To be honest.
I knew being in Pittsburgh nothing was going to happen to us, especially when the one plane flew OVER Pittsburgh doing nothing, then looped BACK because it was headed to Ohio as opposed to DC.
Commonsense factor kind of took a hold of me and was one of the first times I didn't think I was the center of the universe.
My one cousin had just moved to Brooklyn and was working in Manhattan though, and we didn't hear from her for 2 days but I knew she was alrite for some reason.
I can see why older people wouldn't remember the year so much. Dates become much more relevant when they happen year in and year out, as opposed to the origin of said events when you've lived so many.

The people directly affected by 9/11 would probably remember it. but I remember that I didn't remember the year for a while.

(Aug 10 06, 12:22)this is mainly because of the media and how 9/11 is still in people's faces every few weeks. With terrorism in the world now and everything...it doesn't seem like 9/11 happened 5-6 years ago.

Thing is, I know what date Pearl harbor happened, so it seems odd to me that people wouldnt remember the year that something happened in their own lifetime.

I think it's also the person.
Some people are just dumb.

Though the domain is available, however, NewsTomorrow is not.
I'd like to register it and do something funny, perhaps just have it host all the Timelines.
But that seems like a lot of work.

It's easier for me to remember the date because that's around when I moved to NYC. Some pics:

(Aug 10 06, 12:31)awesome idea!!!
- Jaline0
have it host everything that many NTers enjoy.
like the timelines, maybe some funny images/stuff, music, etc. except less since you probably aren't going to get lots of space unless you actually want to pay lots of money.
ummm...yeah.

we could all donate 50 cents..

That is fucking sad!
- ********0
No, what's sad is that I did register it.
And then also finally got hosting.
Using this as the catalyst to hopefully get me started on a lot of sites I need to do. :X
