the smoke's insane enough w/out the manip...
why would they do this?... the 'drama' is already there in the undoctored image... and it's SO BADLY DONE that you almost think the photographer was trying to hurt Reuters' credibility rather than dramatize the situation anymore than it already was.

What disturbs you about the fact that Reuters has been caught doctoring photos for propaganda purposes?
The fact that they've been caught out.

the logic of the thread is that it was a total bullshit chop job on the photoshop regardless of it's intent or effect . . . again more smoke does little in terms of bias or 'demonization' and more simply to enhance the photo for itself, but it's a butt fuking garbage edit
