Is this a euphemism for another film about Cowboys bumming one another?
I was caught out last time.
I was rather perturbed.//

in which way did you get caught out? I don't understand?
- paraselene0
just like the girl with the pearl necklace - erm, i mean... earring. that ken loach is obviously some sort of pervert.

Looks almost as boring as that 'pearl necklace' film. MInd you, seeing as its about the irish, there would might be some bombs and vaguely vaudevillian interest..you know 'stare at the bearded lady'..or in this case, 'laugh at the dumb ass irish with the stupid accent and the story that goes nowhere...'
oh, did i think that or write that?
- ********0
Haha, an australian calling others dumb with stupid accents...
2 stellas and a rum and coke.

There are two easy ways to know you should avoid this film at all costs due to it obviously being boring/rubbish/boring:
1.
"A sympathetic look at Republicans in early 20th century Ireland."2.
"Directed by
Ken Loach"

I think that is the most intelligent thing I have ever read on news today.

Empires were built on casual racism and cups of tea!

1.
"A sympathetic look at Republicans in early 20th century Ireland."--
Haven't seen it, so I might just shut up, but from what I hear around, it shows how imperialist abuse produced nationalist terrorism, without glorifying Republicans.

amongst other things yep...it is in my top 10 british films.
