where are the genius' that do this stuff in there sleep, to say, hey son, i'll help, and not give me words, but actually take the site on to there pc, and fix it, or mac or whatever...

just help, one person in this thread tried to help me, w/ wonderful new ideas, but, sadly didnt want new one's just the one's i've done, unless you are eric jordan wizard at flash and can come up w/ something yourself...

some people have it and some people just don't man... marketing wise, if you want online information about your company or rapping or whatever it is (I've seen the site a few times and I have NO idea what it's all about and that is a VERY BAD THING!) you should just have some black text on a white background explaining what Sattori is and your contact info or whatever. the bad browser compatibility, 10 second loading of all the sliced photoshop images, and high resolution probably cuts your audience by 80%.
also, what's with all the subdomains?
you have an avant garde mindset but you use common trendy shit (or try to) and it all looks very...
anyway, that's it from me. stick to rapping.

and i think i can sort of see what you're trying to accomplish.
you rap, you do some sort of motivational speaking/church type activites/preach to kids/help other young guys record themselves rapping/do your own promotional printing etc...
thats a whole lot of stuff man.
and your site is trying to do all of it at the same time.not a good idea.
keep it all seperated, with a subtle link here and there, to tie it all in together...
coke owns sprite..but do you see sprite logos and lemons and stuff all over coke cans?

you don't.also, asking for flash help here on NT is next to useless...there's not much incentive to help, and way to much insentive to make fun of you.
instead, approach some colleges in your area.
say you'd be willing to trade studio time or whatever, help someone cut a demo, offer your productions services etc...in exchange for them helping out with flash, or helping redesign your site..
for a self taught guy, you ceratinly know a lot, and you obviously have skills..what you DO NOT have is:
1) the ability to organize properly. (dont feel bad..a lot of people can't organize well)
2) a business plan (dude..i can tell you don't. this company/organization/church, whatever...it honestly looks as though it was run by a person with attention deficit disorder. one second you're recording an album, next second you're talking about jesus, and flash fx......how exactly you plan to function as a real business eludes me.

get some help from a real designer,
get organized.
work up a proper business plan.

... but if it's mediocre... or just plain SHITTY... don't expect a whole lot of love - especially from a group of talent.
I recall an instructor from college (amazing technical illustration ability)... he used to sit us all down for a critique... AND CRITIQUE OUR CRITIQUING ABILITY... because it was a JOKE... there was no real criticism first - and second... everyone was either too much of a wimp to share their real opinion... OR RECEIVE AN OPINION ABOUT THEIR WORK.
You... son... seem to 'justify' more than accept criticism. Change that, dude... or don't expect much praise amongst YOUR PEERS.
I'm sure you keep all the semi/non-creative people in life all jazzed up thinking you're hot shit...
... unfortunetly - you're barely mediocre in the eyes of the folks on NT (at least with your design)... and you could probably be more... but you tend to justify and try and sell us on 'why you did what you did' rather than enhance your work with SOLID FEEDBACK.
Stop posting your stuff if you're not up for the criticism - it's not 'hate'... it's just your PEER GROUP gving you shit and encouraging you to do BETTER... because alot of what you show is boring... yawner... unorganized stuff...
