fat Jack Black wannabesold gas station attendent flavor
Thanks to Rob Halford, gayness is now acceptable stage behaviour. I mean you'd never touch the other guys wood like this back int he day:
Everyone who liked Sabbath with Dio, raise your hand:
We are evil. We have fog.
Darth vader and the stormtroopers arrive:

lol! that was some funny but true, metal facts!
I don't listen to any of the new school, partly because I've moved on musically. Partly because they all suck!

couldn't agree with baskerville more..
maybe it's partly identifying with the style that came about during my adolesence, like old iron maiden, metallica, even early faith no more....or even what came before like ozzy led black sabbath, or whatever...but when ithink 'good' heavy metal, i tend to look back on those bands as the benchmark...
the new stuff that is out now...i dunno...maybe i've moved on muscally as well, but for whatever reason the new stuff to me is kinda lame...
occasionally ya hear something heavy that captures something of the glory or power of the old days...but not that often...
then again, like baskerville, my musical tates have changed quite a bit since i was a teenager in the mid-80's...

There were a few female metal bands I listened to last year, but they were all from the 60s and 70s.
