They're good if you're a small / newish agency competing with a bunch of other agencies in a goldfish bowl.

maybe if it they didn't have such a stupid name - 'webby awards'. It makes them sound like the Razzies in america for worst acting.
Surely the best thing you can win ie garners the most respect is a D&AD award in 'Interactive & Digital Media'

that's how i make extra cash. i host a cute cat contest every year.
send me a photo of your kitty and a 20 dollars entry fee and you could win a trip to the caribbean.
so i just wait until i get enough applicants then buy a cheepo flight and submit the photo to some local pet shop publication.
i make hundreds in profits! absolute gobs of gooey dough.
