Actually, I think GUK's live performaces got better with age. By far the best show of theirs I saw was my last one (circa spring 2004).

(Apr 7 06, 09:22)Really? We walked into that show for free about 1/2 way thru their set. No one showed up so the bouncer just let us in.
We stayed in the 21 and up area with a bunch of parents that were chaperoning their kids.
Good but in no way as energetic as 10 minute Mile era that I missed out on.

Which stop did you see? The San Diego date was packed and had no parents in sight. I saw GUK back in 2000 and while they rocked the casbah I think their maturity showed (in a good way) with their later dates
Going back to the theme of the thread..I am sorry that I missed the GUK at the Che Cafe during the 4-min mile era.

Hello all, I never ever post but I couldn't resist this thread. I have seen many of the "indie" bands listed above. Early ATDI were amazing. I saw them open for Knapsack at a bowling alley in Burlington, Vermont. They were touring IN/CASINO/OUT. No afros, no stage, all-out mind blowing speedy prog goodness.
The show I regret not seeing the most was Drive Like Jehu & Tanner in a living room sized all-ages club in Ottawa, Canada. It was apparently a 3 hour feedback and sing-along sweatfest! Hot Snakes kinda made up for it last year though.

Hahaha, I'm old. I saw Tad open for Primus the night before the first Lollapalooza in Toronto. They were gnarly!

I was 14 years old when HUM rolled into Baton Rouge, LA. I regret not having a fake ID then. I also regret not going to Morphine. Weak sauce.

I saw HUM at a living room size place right when that STARS song broke.
The fire mashalls came and busted the place for having to many people.
The guy from HUM got pissed and told everyone that came because we saw them on MTV to leave. I thought that was a shitty thing to say. But the album would be on my top 5 CDs ever.P.S.
BAD BRAINS

So maybe dreams come true after all? My number one choice of bands I'd like to see reunite and play just once more are playing in Seattle on July 29th.
