i don't agree. his portfolio sites have this welcoming experimental touch thing. you don't need flashy shit all over the place.

his style is really colorful a a bit over the top... he does seem to be getting his wife lot's of freelance biz as well...
I still wonder why does his portfolio site sucks so badly? it looks like it was made by a creative director

I like the way you put it, "familiar but refreshing" I suppose it describes what i meant very well. Still looks a lot like Republic to me!

Vibrant work.
I think he has a solid knowledge of many different techniques, movements, artists and past works out of which he has evolved his own Unique style and identity.
Familiar but with a refreshing twist.

yeah - i totally love some of the pieces especially animations, but it feels like he's still kinda "fishing" for style -learning how to edit things out is a hard thing - but maybe i am wrong and this "over the top" approach actually constitutes a style...
wouldn't this portfolio be so much stronger (design-wise) with more cohesive colection of fewer pieces?
totally creative though

not just experience, I mean he is good, I think it´s clear that his work has quality. I like his stuff, however, like I said, his work does link strongly with some other stuff that I have seen before, from other people!

I'm sure there's a skid-mark of Magritte about him, you know, just a little one...
