Cheers snuggles. Yeah 4 is the weakest. I think a better colour scheme would help it. I keep ending up with feckin blues though.
"what do you think about them skt?"
I'm relatively pleased with them but they need more work.

I think, anyone of these would do a fair job standing on its own, but as a series the group lacks the dynamism one might expect.
You're repeating to many different visual elements to often. Consider more complex interpretations of the process/cycle you are trying to represent. For instance, could the process also dictate the placement or arrangement of the illustrations on the page?
Approaching the project in this way would do a couple of things. First it would break up the monotony of repetition. Second, by not defaulting to a centered presentation of you illustrations, you'll force yourself to make a more intellectually stimulating piece.

I don't agree 53, I think it's imperative to the series to maintain a level of consistency and I don't feel it's neccessary to go away from 1 structure/format. With a different pictogram/illustration and colour-way each time. I understand what you mean and think it's valid, but not with this series of posters. The simplicity and deconstruction of such complex themes will be much more powerful in the end...

Do posters have to sell something for them to be of any value?

(Mar 23 06, 11:31)No, but I think the webAddress in the corner makes me think its an add for the studio. Everything else goes together, then the address in the lower right stands out as out of place. Maybe smaller?

Hey - I totally agree with snuggles - (btw, snuggles.. nice work man..) the posters need not to be completely different if it is a series - i would try changing the scale (object vs the field) for a few though. Your background seems to play a very importatn role - i know cause i am the same way... THE BACKGROUND and THE OBJECT... so maybe mix it up a bit... considered textures..?? I dig 1, 4, 5 - not so much the rest... they feel a little... academic.. although 3 has something going for it... I would not drop the keyline on 5 - maybe use 2 different weights for the 2 circles... offset a little (?) make one significantly thicker though... love color scheme, love the feel... just keep whacking at it...
In any case: what is the purpose of the posters? self-promo? I think the purpose and the audience should determine what kind of visual language you'll employ...
oh well - just some thoughts..
