It didn't seem very marathon-y to me at first, The I realized that the letter forms were mimicking the marathons route and know it's growing on me.

This is what it looks like to me:
Even if that's not what it's supposed to be, I still really like it. A very pleasing shape, expecially at larger scales, and very unique.
