As I once read on a toilet wall during a NOFX concert in Melbourne... "Replace worry with Concern". Sure you can get all bummed about it and stress yourself silly but it just wont help anything. Be concerned and you'll find a way to take the best steps to move outta there, or make the most of being there. I fyou got that job your bound to find more... and you'll have a good excuse for leaving that one after so soon methinks.
...damn I'm a nice guy :P

horoscopes are the anwser, any key decision in your life should be consulted with the free supplement that contains a random generic weekly or monthly horoscope section

the pacifier is some of your finer work, Vin.

I'm sure the other employers if they are worth anything would have you... sure they'll be a bit pissed off... but that is purely because they missed out on a good catch... but that is only props to you... I'd only say if you decide to look again, don't play them again unless you are certain to go with them... bit like crying wolf otherwise, and then you'll piss them off

Hey Edwin... sorry to hear that.
Are you still in Banff or back in Toronto now. I saw your write up in Computer Arts... great stuff man!
- mayo0
I'm sorry Edvin. *hug*
But these things usually work themselves out. Are any of the other things you turned down something where you can talk to them and maybe get the contracts back?
- mayo0
at least god loves you and does not let that crapfuck Ashton Kutcher punk you.

Is all hope lost? any chance of contacting the company with the better offer and seeing if it still stands?

If you really believe that god lead you to this descision then you may want to stick it out. Wouldn't want to piss the old man off.

sorry to hear it, guy. this is why I always consult the i ching online before any major decisions.

try looking at things from a different point of view.
for instance, having taken this job has kept you from going to another one. who knows had you taken the other job, you might have gotten killed by a bus your first day on your way in the front door, who knows
i'm only saying it could be worse, keep in mind, you are complaining about having viable income

You should have consulted the Magic 8 Ball before taking the job.
"Magic 8 ball, is this place punking me?"
"Most certainly Yes"
Done.

thanks. i guess i'm just dramatic.
I am back in Toronto, i am working at a technology company, they do pretty cool work but they lied about stuff in my benefits so i'm pissed.
the job isn't that bad but i feel betrayed because of the lies to get me to sign.
- piperboytoy0
well i contacted the other company who offered me the full time thing and they said that they are experiencing a slow period and are holding off any hiring. he said he wasn't mad at me for turning them down.
Do you think it's true?
- piperboytoy0
thanks chz
I'm back in Toronto and just started the job. i was thinking about sticking with freelance and working on my own project but this op came up and was really interesting because of the technology but it's not and i was mislead!
anyway thanks, Catherine emailed me about the article. :) how is the new office? you guys bought the building?
