the image/illustration is spot on. a real eyecatcher.
wasn't overly taken to the typography but the more i look at it the more i like it.just a thought, since you'll only see one side at a time, maybe have some of the feather 'bend' over onto the 'info' side and add a little dirtiness to the clean layout.

Nice idea about folding over the feathers Bluejam, might give that a go.
The type is a little scruffy at this stage as it is only an early mock up. It will be tidier.

some color would really make it pop, even if it was just a peacock/ PMS300ish blue instead of black.
better yet a gradient blue into violets and other peacock colors would be chic.

Cheap one colour job.
It's meant to be a dark rich brown, not black by the way.

only thing id say is, probably align the small text right (but in the same position on the card) and basically tweak the typography, but youve already got that covered.

im not really a fan of illustrations on contact cards ...
so ill just crit the info sidewhat i didnt like
was that the name Tailfeather Audio was all caps that his name Scott Peacock was all caps...I also dont like the info is placed id place his name more under the company name also I hate when stuff is aligned to the right like that...
here is how i would change the wording aswell.
