(Dec 30 05, 13:49)people did try to sell them in the beginning but then google said you cant do that...
I think that guy should make a tshirt with all the ads on them then contact each one of those people and say im giving out free t-shirts with the ads on them but for your ad to be included you have to pay again. he would/could make another million.

that is disturbing. every new little business major who comes up with an idea to cheat the system ends up on the front page news and makes wads of cash, catalyzing an evermore bombardment of media and advertising trash. it's shit, and it's ruining the quality of all of our lives for the benefit of only very few. capitalism at it's finest.
- Point50
well, I had to start clicking the links. fuck it. some interesting shit in there. not good, but interesting...

Scott, it helps not to think of it as some capitalist shit but rather as some kid who had a great idea and went through with it.
It will be one of the pieces of internet history worth remembering.
Makes people plain jealous that they are not the first one though.
If I had thought of that one idea I'd take a good break and use that break to think of better ideas. Heh.

dammit. my most brilliant ideas are deciding what to cook for dinner.

If I had money to spare I'd buy a block of his pixels and rent them out to people for the next five years. You could probably charge more than $1/pixel after they're all filled up.
This is my favorite part of the FAQ:
11. If you want money for Uni, why don't you get a job?
Although I've done many different jobs in the past, it's not really how my brain likes to work.

simple stupid idea that flipping worked, but its only a fad no one will use it, some will just make a billion dollar homepage (plz laugh, as we all did when we first heard of the milliondollarhomepage)
- lvl_130
can't believe it worked. amazing what the internet can provide.
it's the next reality show that cost nothing to produce...go figure.props given...i honestly never thought it would work.

no one thought the PC would be this successful this day and age too.
no one thought the xbox would take off and say "why would anyone want a console that crashes every 15 minutes", and the same people are posting their gamer tags for online challenge.
no matter how stupid you think the idea is, it's your baby. it's up to you to raise it, let it run free or have others gun it down.
you'll always regret losing a baby though, no matter how deformed.

I bought this domain a while back when the MDHP craze started but never got around to doing anything with it...just made a quick logo. Procrastination sucks.
- Jnr_Madison0
Yeah thats the problem, every hack will be trying to come up with the next mdhp site idea now.
- nosaj0
Watching all the hacks makes it that much better. That's how the world works - it's how we validate good idea's, be it music, movies or websites.... rip em off to make the scraps.
