make 7up urs is a 7up (soda) commercial....the guy gets into trouble when saying Make 7---- Up Yours.... people think he is saying screw you.... he is putting the wrong inflection on the wrong words...
crepes = french food = french
red coats = what the blue coats (u.s. troops) called the british during the revolutionary war....

maybe you weren't being so patronizing as i interpreted, but hey, everyone's listening and there's more about this world than the american way.
