i have to donate $1,000 before the end of 2005.
1.it has to be donated to something related to the tsunami last year in asia.
2.i'd prefer giving to someone other than the red cross or other large-marge organization.any suggestions?

The fishing industry basically carries all of the economy in the smaller villages. You should get in touch with somebody who can pull some strings down there and be able to give it *directly* to the people who builds the boats.

I learned and worked in Web Production for their site using IBM Domino Lotus Notes 4.0. I went on to use it later. I could get a job with them and they pay a ton. Bit too, too conservative for my blood though. Don't care for extremes one way or another.

I'm dead serious, you are so much better off donating actual goods rather than throwing your money into some ORG, that is going to take 85 to 90% of it for administrative fees.

this family lost a daughter while there, now the sis is over there volunteering - seems like they could put it to good use
