Any people who write for tv or film on here? I got a short to finish that's pure gold but I think I've developed an obsession with the refresh button, it's worse than writer's block.

After you revise it, your manager will make revisions. Then your agent. Then the studio. Then writers at the studio. Then the director. Then the script supervisor. Then the actors. Then the best boy and key grip.

I just wrapped up production on a short and am writing another. before too long I would like to write/produce a feature-length.

amons films is me and I'm developing and writing several features, a short to be shot this summer and released next year and a roc doc
the short is about a chronically forgetful young woman who keeps falling in love with the same guy over and over again

not sure on realease, if any, on this one. Maybe a small run of DVDs for family and friends. I would probably post a link to quicktime; I'll be sure to post it here when I finish up post.
In the meantime I need to round up money for telecine. Shot it on 16mm, so I haven't seen any of the footage yet.

i'm hooked up, film's the shit, i do it all and film lets me...i wish there were as active and interesting forums for media film people, gets a little too designy for my tastes sometimes

I have never been a barista. Just a design slag for way too long. I am slowly working towards motion graphics and film production. When I have forgotten how to write html I will be much happier.

I do however really like a design like appraoch to film, short films in particular. thinking like a designer can make something very potent and punchy not to mention visually solid... a lot of 'filmmakers' have no experience or exposure to this world

no doubt, my design and fine art background are proving to be very useful.
khilled, join this site and you have lots of forums and areas to review people's work. Reviewing people's scripts can get monotonous, but it is great way to learn.
the site has been buggy the last week or so.
