I wasn't trying to brag or anything. Like i said in my first post, i didn't leave a lot of room in that section so just wondering what people do.
I got me a prize winnin pig!!
I think you should be honest enough to list only your awards and recognitions.
So that one could know what's hapeening whenever one comes across with your curriculum vitae.
Just don't mention your nick, btw. Sometimes employers do lurk around the pvn as doth the nightingale.
why don't you post your awards list and let the folks help you think which ones to stay and which ones to go?
I don't need to add pages on my resume. but it's good to know what i can do if i need to expand again.
I simply added pages over time to accommodate for listing awards and achievements. I have removed some of my older listings, but left enough of the good ones to show steady progress over the years in my growth from student to professional. Currently, my resume is broken down into experience, skills, awards, jury, books, and press.
thanks for the tips. not sure if any are useful. I guess i won't be putting awards from local fairs etc. Thought this was a valid question. what's with the jackass answers?
Some are magazine interviews and features. (not in canada, but in Japan and UK) I put them with awards and recognition. not sure if it's appropriate.
really... what's with the professional bias against 4h?
if any of those awards came from your local county fair, discard them.
make sure to note the size of your wang also.
shoe size, vertical leap, and time in the 40 are also very important
oh i see. i will think about that. thanks
I faced this same problem a while ago. I simply made a seperate page full of all of my achievments. This accompanies the standard cover article, work experience, physical attributes, interests and passions, hobbies, travel log, and yearly itinerary.
If i am running out of room to list awards and recognition, do you think it's a good idea to get rid of the older stuff or the lesser known stuff?
Not that i get that many awards and recognitions, but when i first did my resume design 3 years ago, only had a few things there, but i've added 4 more since that time.
