Do you a have form-to-mail script on your website?

ah good question mike....

i got almost 30 spam from my domain in the past 2 days. keeps talking about log in information.

most likely they are not really coming from your domain and the sender is spoofing the headers.
That would be my guess...
If your email client allows, why not filter out any message coming from yourself and move it straight to the trash?

i guess that's the best way, i never really send messages to myself anyway. Thanks.
It's funny but i get excited when i get 40 emails in the morning, but turns out only 5 are real emails! :(

The thing you need to do to stop people spoofing your email addresses is to add an 'SPF Record' to your site's zone file. For me at least, this has stopped this type of spam from coming to me. I know of others though for whom it's made no difference at all.
Go to http://www.dnsreport.com and see if you have an SPF record already.
Go to http://www.openspf.org/ for a wizard that helps you to write your own record.
Talk to your provider about getting it added to the zonefile.
Good luck!

same stuff was happening to me...
i told my service provider, they asked me to send them teh emails with header information turned on, and they blocked the sender through their ip.it seemed to help.
a bit anyways.
hopefully that helps.

if they are html emails you should look through the soruce fto find the real headers, they will be there somewhere.
the sender probably isnt worried about you replying but you will be able to see which website the images come from etc....

thanks for the info guys! i will do that now.
The emails are just text and they are the same.
