rip eddie, he was a bit of a two-bit wrestler that got shoved to the fore of recent years even though he's got little charisma and bad 'mike skillz' – he'll be missed tho. Say hi to shirley crabtree and owen hart. (or whatever hart it was)

the article said he's fought his 'own demons of alcohol and drugs...'
personally i find it pretty amazing and strange how a man can stay in that kind of shape and give those types of performances while living a double life as an alcoholic and druggie
it's pretty radically different and more difficult than being someone like, say, ozzy osborne - wailing about on stage for an hour or two

yeah, probably painkillers or steroids or something...
I saw the doco movie Beyond the Mat on these wrestler guys, and they covered Jake the Snake in particular... lots of these guys seem to have problems with drugs, alcohol, their family etc...
But they're on the road all year, it'd be a rough job to have... RIP Eddie

Likely cause of death would be accredited to heart attack from blood doping or some other form of performance enhancing substance/s.

The few times I have watched wrestling in the last 5 or so years I did notice that he went from being pretty small and slender to being huge and muscular. I assumed he was on steriods but I would guess many of them are.

not sure if it was mentioned but from what little i know about the wwe, eddie was suspended for almost a year and sent to rehab by the wwe for cocaine and heroin addiction.
he 'cleaned up' and came back.
now he's passed.
i can only make a guess that he od'd.
