i'm looking at buying a new desktop (PC) to run most graphics apps. Can anyone recommend any/anything; AMD or Intel? etc etc....

dell has nice widescreen lcds so id get that from them and them id build the box myself because id have more contol over graphics card and ram stuff like that. it will cost yo uabout same but you get more for your money if you do your research. but the dell widescreen lcds are great..

+Build it yourself. way better than any out on the market. for example, use Intel processor, maxtor HD, matrox graphics card and enough DDR memory to keep it all rolling.

why did you mention a toshiba? we're talking desktops. and why are we talking about dell wide screens? they work with any computer, oh and we're talking bout desktops.

id recommed going the amd dual core route on an nforce4 based motherboard, such as an Abit AnN8.
