Is anyone able to point me in the direction of a FREE program for OSX that will allow me to compress and encore existing video in different formats and tinker with the frame rate, sound and quality so I can deliver content that is quick for people to download? I have nothing now except for iMovie and of course the file size to compression ratio it delivers is shithouse.
Cheers.

Do all your editing with iMovie, and export it using quick time Pro.
Other option cut be Final Cut Express.
