Here's a revolutionary idea: watch it. And part 2, which i think is even better. The third installment is a disappointment though.

i've seen bits and peices
and the 3rd one is bangin
shows how fake the Vatican is, or how real they are w/ this crime shit
and it shows mike being a kid again confessing to them like they helpin somethin

The Vatican angle is interesting, and the photography throughout is gorgeous, but it's a cheesy conclusion to an incredible series (and I think this is the universal consensus, although everybody is entitled to their opinions). And while I like Sophia Coppola as a director, she should have never played Michael's daughter. I also hated Andy Garcia's romance with her, which just wasn't creditable.

Watch Part 1 and 2 in their entirety, son, and you'll see what I'm saying.

part 3 desecrated the classics

I wish I was a godfather.
Cool title.

"he's your first cousin!"
"that means i love him first!"
terrible.
though, i did like the very end where he falls out of his chair.

Oh, and I would consider Coppola a smoked out has been (I've seen this first hand at his winery), which is sad, because with the Godfather series and Apocalypse Now (a perfect movie), his legacy is/was set. Then he had to make horrible films like Jack and A Time to Kill and you realize he hasn't made something noteworthy in 20 plus years, while Scorsese continues to be innovative and relevant.

how can you watch just bits and pieces of the baddest f'n movie of all time?
good lode, you ludacrisp

I'm glad Marty got his drugs out of the way early.

Tried watching the entire thing, but I just couldn't.
Obviously lots of ppl believe it's amazing.
Winona Ryder was actually supposed to play the part that Sofia ended up getting. Apparently she backed out at the last minute, but I remember something about Winona not getting a part in a major film because the director watched 'Heathers' and thought it was vulgar. It was around the same time, so I'm guessing it was Coppola who didn't like it. I think Winona would've been quite good.

"you ever see what a .44 magnum can do to a women's face? it would blow it right off. do you know what a .44 magnum can do to a woman's pussy? that you should see! you should see what a .44 magnum can do to a woman's pussy!"

The company i used to work for had a party one Friday at his winery. Francis sat out on the balcony all alone with a bottle of merlot and a pipe. I wanted to go blaze with him but I didn't want to appear a groupie, or have my supervisor see me. He wasn't all son-like but he looked dazed and confused, which was kind of sad, because he used to be a hero of mine (I also hate him becuase his literary journal promised to publish a story of mine and that backed out mysteriously--and all I heard about the matter was a cheesy form letter from some pee-on).
btw, Coppola loves Winona. He cast her in Dracula a few years later.

this movie cannot be picked apart
it displays something that really happens
nothing in that movie is fictional
but sometimes people dont want to admit that, in the same way they put the truth behind the curtains
like adopting customs and worshiping religous figures and still not wanting to deal with the truth, or whatever
i love the movie
but, i see this in real life,
i know how fucked churches are
so, go from there

it's still a shit movie, whether what it's trying to say is true or not
