don't they have little "groups" for pregnant women so that they can have tea while scrapbooking and crying together or something? Also, I believe there are classes especially for pregnant women in many gyms. From yoga to indoor pool aerobics.

you try having another human being growing inside your body while your hormones go into overdrive and you gain weight rapidly with no choice....
p.s. congrats on being a future daddy!!! :)

hormones dude. hers are off the charts.
she needs a hobby.
yoga? an athletic club? a fist to the face and a hearty 'SHUT THE HELL UP!'?
hang in there. i do know that after it's all over (if the depression doesn't set in) things will be better.

(Sep 8 05, 08:04)I wish she stuck with the yoga. She got a super flakey instuctor who wanted to reflect on innner emotions. I think thats great but my wife aint havin it.
She needs to be busting ass on the squash court or biking but those activities dont work anymore.I think she is just having a tough time changing gears from being super active and athletic to having a big olde belly.
Swimming seems to work.

Take her to your nearest Destination Maternity store...
They have all kinds of maternity stuff and yoga/prenatal classes for pregnant ladies. She can be surrounded by maternity specialists and share her feelings with other pregnant women. Destination Maternity locations also usually have an Edamame spa as well... it'll be a nice, thoughtful gesture if you buy her a spa package, and maybe she'll come home relaxed, and you would have had some much needed time to yourself.
Though, I think if I had a 30lb belly and sore feet and all the crazy hormones, and nothing to do... yeah I'd be a bit of a nag as well.
I hope that helps! ^^

Get her a PS2 with all the sports titles.
- blaw0
remind her that she's not doing anything some random 13 year old girl couldn't do.
and then run like hell, of course.
p.s. being a dad's cool. good luck.

sherman! i'm an expecting dad any time now (2nd tyke have a 3yr old). tell her to slow down! my wifes appendix exploded at 26wks, had to operate, move baby to one side and clean her out -staple her up and recover. She was very lucky. Her and babe are fine. She can't wait for a drink after what she's been through. All the best bloke.
