what is a malt collar?

link the page more often so that a lot of websites see it and vice versa

yeah and be more patient. Google only refreshes search results only every three months for normal websites..
and make sure you got some others linking to you. it helps.

infact, i don't think you can be included unless you're linked from somewhere. I'm running a bunch of different sites with just holding pages. They've been up for ages, with meta tags and everything but they are nowhere to be found on Google.
I think you have to be linked to be a playa on Google Street.

For 1 - the site is done in flash. That would be a no no for engines.
Second - there is no actual html text on the first page - no no again. There is nothing for the engines to index as far as what the site is about - so as far as they are concerned, nothing relavent for anyones searches.
I suggest you get a copy of Search engines for dummies, or start buying some google adwords.

(Aug 29 05, 12:33)HIdden text is a no-no! Google isnt dumb.
I really suggest you get a copy of Search Engine Optimization for Dummies. Well worth it if you want your site to be found in the engines.

google will actually permanently ban your site if you are found to be utilizing black hat techiques. dont learn the hard way, cause its a biatch trying to get unbanned.
I am in the process of doing this for a client at the moment who went with one of those "submit your site to 1000 searh engines" gimmicks.
I successfully got another client unbanned after they came to me. Their site was filled with hidden text and garbage. Their site was also a part of "link farms" and a ton of other frowned upon services.
Do it the right way. its not fun if you do it the wrong way, and we all winin our searches in the end. After all, how would you like to be searching for grilled cheese recipes with your Mom, only to find some nice foot fetish videos? LOL

How does that even work? Isn't hidden text just text in the same color as the background? How can google even tell?
- doggy0
google reads the code. not exactly what we see in the browser window. google doesnt see color.
the cleaner your code, the better ranking it will be. hence the reason why css rocks when it comes to search.

Wow. So you can place a hidden layer over a text and it understands what you're trying to pull?
- version30
the answer is meta tags
- ********0
now you are at it.
- doggy0
google will read meta tags, but will not judge your site by them.
too many people try to pull scams from false statements in there. the keys to search are content, layout, and proper formatting
