No, I'm using Firefox - but I wrote that last night, so it's a bit redundant :)
I appreciate your trying to keep a monochromatic quality to the site and wanting to add a form of closure to each page, but really [imho] I'd get rid of them or tone 'em down.
They're distracting and irrelevant to everyone but you.
How's about some Contact details or intra-section Nav instead? Or just a plain ol' copyright notice?
Anything but a plug and a geek tag!
