;)
kodap, no not this time.
the guy doesn't jsut make pretty compositions with flowers, he designs gardens, exhibitions, festivals, educates, demonstrates, designs furniture (for outdoors) etc.etc.etc.
so that is why i keep it neutral and corporate like this.
it will also be seen in almost any continent, so.. not taking too many risks there.

either get rid of, or tone down 'design by vormburo' & 'valid xhtml 10.0o/css' - these are of no relevance to your client and his audience. I'm still seeing select hilights on your nav, which are distracting :\
your three organic forms seem slightly irrelevant at the moment, and distract from the rigidity of your grid.
otherwise - it's tight. i like the colour scheme, the cleanliness and the flow. the arrangement in that photo does look like a scene from 'Attack of the Killer Katerpillars', though! :)

This is a really tight layout but I agree with Nairn, you could reduce the importance of those text elements he mentions.
I also agree about the organic shapes although I think that could be solved by making the shapes relate to the forms in the images that will appear in the main content area.
The organization and structure of information is great. Really nice job.

those pedals doesn't really make any sense in the layout. what is the purpose?
also there no color and all the type sizes are the same, it makes it boring to look at. It needs some kind of visual hierarchy. Even the logo type is almost the same size at the other type.
There is simplicity and there is boring!
I think this has potential, do you do layout first before you make templates?

really fucking tight janne.....
- Duane0
I think great photography would solve that . Interesting abstract crops of images that open on mouse click and reveal the rest of the image would make it a little sexier. Introducing a larger font size into the font hierarchy would help that as well. The structure is solid imho but I have a thing for grids.

i do like the expanding image thing, it would be cool if the image was bigger. needs more visual interest.

i love...

not everything has (or should have) a purpose. there will be different shapes appearing on the other pages. it's pleasing, i like them the most and my client kept pushing me for something like this.

cropping the preview images is a great idea! i like that.
