i have been chased by a gang of teen gangster rappers before...
this girl put a broken beer bottle up to my neck... and so i gave her the ole heave "ho"...and bitch slapped her. as i was sauntering down the street with the gents, i see about 15 teens swarm out of an apartment...so they chased us but good. then i waved down a cop car. the cops put me in bracelets, and i broke a back cop car window with my feet and was then peppersprayed and beaten.
that wil show those teenagers eh !
i was being threatened then chased and end up beaten by the cops and put in jail.i have been broken into once,
and i had my bmx stolen too.
and then there was the time i was chased by a street gang with baseball bats. i was like " hey guys, isn't it a little dark out to be playing some stickbal?" so they agreed, annd instead tried to be all sammy sosa on my face !!!fun times boy !

same issue with my place - the security gate wasn't latching half the time from people buzzing dudes upstairs. they sure did fix that shit on the quick

That totally sucks, I really feel for you. Our apartment was broken into about a month ago.
They climbed up an old box sping mattress that my neighbor left outside, broke a neat little hole in a window, flipped the latch and opened the window right into my home office / studio.
They took my iPod and charger that was sitting on my desk, a 17" apple lcd display that needed repair and put both into my messenger bag and split out the front door.
We were really lucky because I just bought a bunch of new studio recording gear that was all over the room they came in. Didn't touch my guitars, they pulled my camera bag out of the closet, opened it but didn't take anything.
There was stuff all over the apartment they could have taken. It seem like they got spooked or something. The worst part the whole thing is I can't stop feeling vulnerable. We just got renters insurance which helps set my mind at ease. But it's just a lame violation.

yeah as draydog said, the worst part about it is still feeling vulnerable.
i came home after a long halloween night (about 5am) to see my room (along with my 2 other roomates) rooms completely ransacked. every fucking drawer was taken out and dumped on the floor!
everything had been filed through to try and find something of value. too fucking bad we were all poor! fucking cocks!
i was pissed at first, but then had this weird feeling of violation/insecurity?!
i guess i was thinking of anything that actually mattered to me. i didn't have anything of real value, but there were several things that were really precious to me...and to see everything just dumped on the floor really freaked me out.
long story short, the theif got away with a bunch of clothes (which we found the entire pile under an unhinged door next to the train yard. we lived right next to it ) my roomates alum. cannondale (which they obviously rode off on) and another bike.
we called the cops and they told us to wait next to the clothes under the door, with a baseball bat! no joke. the theifs never came back, but it still lingers in my head.

Had a knife to my throat the second day on my new job as a cab driver to finance my studies a few years back. Somebody wanted to save 4 bucks and I was the easiest victim. I quit that same day.
The same year, about 4 months later I had borrowed a friends motorcycle and took it for a little spin. At the first intersection I stopped for a red light. Four guys pull up next to me in a beat up corolla, rolled the window down, pointed a gun and said "off". Being without a license for the bike and not secure enough to take off quick as fuck (seeing as it was my first time ever on something bigger than 200 cc), I stepped off.
Had my car broken into, had another car stolen, and the very same thieves tried to blackmail my insurance company for my car (lol!), bikes stolen as a kid, cellphone stolen like 10 times.
I have also given my fair share back to the community. Threw a youth through the display window of a candy store a while ago after he had stolen some old lady's purse and took off. Too bad he ran towards me and I saw it.

My flat has been robbed twice in the last six months. The cunts upstairs are still not locking the front door properly.

(Aug 8 05, 01:57)Put a big sign on your front door saying "this flat has been burgled twice in the past six months, we've fuck all elft worth stealing, please visit upstairs - they've got laodsa stuff"
- kelpie0
ha ha mx, that'll do it...
Never been robbed (it may shock a few to learn), though my flat mate and I used to live next door to his girlfriend - one time him, her and 3 of her mates all crashed out in various places in her flat, leaving the door unlocked and when they woke up they discovered some gadgy had come into the front room (2 pepole crashed out in there) and lifted my pals bag and a girls handbag. Pal lost his passport and front door keys and a week later they came back and took his bike from the hallway. Cunts.

(we requested the front door lock be changed, but no luck).

Updates!
I was worried that my renters insurance was cancelled because I paid my payment late, but it's not, so I figure I will get a bit of money to replace things.
I had around 60 DVDs stolen, and if I estimate the avg. price at even $13, that's close to $800 back, and my deductable is only $250.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Ever been robbed?
Yes.
Once While I was home. I was upstairs. Heard the downstairs door open, and close, thought nothing of it. Turns out some one ran in grabed a bike, bottle of Rum, and a watch, and bimmed out the back door.
Sucks being robbed. Has happend a couple times.

That sucks they took the watch your GrandFather gave to you on your first christmas.
I've been jacked a few times. This older kid swiped my LA Kings hat from the arcade back in 88. In 89 I got jacked at gunpoint for my cubs jersey outside a wendy's. In 94 someone broke into my car and stole my Denver Nuggets Mutombo jersey and some kind nuggets among other things. Bad luck with sports teams.

I'm sorry.

zaire:
clarification. It was a watch my girlfriend gave me the first christmas we were together.I usually think most people think of GF as girlfriend. :)

mg33:

Twice:
First time at college they smashed a back window and stole our huge rental TV, stacks of CDs, a few stereos and also took the time to smoke all my weed.
Second time me and my GF were away for the weekend, came back to find the front door and back window smashed and the whole house cleared out, TV, stereos, Apple Mac, decks, MTB, microwave, CDs etc. Luckily we were insured and ended up about £3-4k up after it was all sorted. That took the edge off things :)

Our house was robbed when we were gone when I was about 14, wierd experience.
Especially the first night back into your house..It sucked though because they stole some items that with sentimental value and that were passed on threw the family...
