It's not suppose to affect anything
on your pc, but if your not sure, use the old 'burn your stuff' technique...

You are fine.

X-Rays do not damage HD's

i carried a harddrive inside a padded box with me on an airplane once. had zero problems. i thought they would wonder what it was thou, cause people do not normally carry around a hd from inside a computer in a shady padded metal box.

Oh that is a relief! I'm stressed. We're moving back to the states and I have too many things to think about. Have 4 luggages so big I can't lift them.

If anybody's had problems with xraying powerbooks or harddrives let me know
thanks

i've had mine x-rayed plenty of times and it seemed to handle it fine, although i had to replace it (the HD) twice in 2 years (PB titanium). but that didnt have to do anything with it i dont think, i was just unlucky with hard drives..
