see it on the bright side, if you die you don't need to pay taxes anymore.

yes yes, enjoy life, don't worry, be happy!

as said before the fear of will cause you more problems (mentally, physically) than just living without fear.

i know that a computer crash cant be compared to a terrorist attack.
it was an exemple.
Anyways, no one can be enough prepared for a terrorist attack, so all the stuff you'll bring in your backpack will be kind of useless.
Just stop thinking about it. Life's good. Enjoy it.

lifeinsurance honest, if someone opens an insurance on your name it's quite shady.

well honestly vespa, the motives? i don't know. i seriously would like to know as well. one was a teacher, married and a child. it's just weird i agree. hence why i think they're just mental, no religious motives. however there's no link to al quaida, initially this was all over the news worldwide: al quaida bombing. and now in small print i read there's no link at all. so what's the point? do they want me to believe it was the al quaida? that there's this big organisation behind it? why? same in russia, they try to file the kazachstan terrorism under religious motivated terrorism while it's all about independence. it's still awfull but it's not islam vs christianity etc. it's just this pattern everywhere that wants to create this fear of that.

not quite sure what you mean anon

is buying life insurance being paranoid or a waste of money?
honest
(Jul 18 05, 04:54)If you have dependants its essential.

anon i know the "big organisation" doesn't exist, but i still find it pretty frightening that an 18 year old who grew up in a relatively privilaged society could do something like that. this isn't palestine. it's not like it was his only weapon against a massively equipped army. what makes a kid do something like that?
sorry, i'm not wanting to spread fear, i just despair sometimes. they found my friend's brother (what was left of him) a week after the event.

well duuuuuuh a crashing computer is way more likely to happen than a bombing. djeez.

Seriously 'honest', i think what you do is correct.
Its always good to be prepared to something.
I do the same with my computer... i got a backup of all my hard disk on an extern LaCie 120gb, and i keep it at my mother's house... so my apartment can burn down with my computer and i will have a backup in another city :D Am I paranoid ? I dont think so.

sure, a brick is media as well if you throw it at someone's head.

hahaa para
anyways, the "media" made that doc as well.
The Century of the Self is also a great documentary series.

most likely the fear will lead to an heart attack first before something actually will happen.
- benfal990
you'll never be enough prepared.
Bring a gas mask and some scotch-tape.in case of a tragedy, everyone will attack you to get your stuff anyways.

damnit! Now I'll need to bring an extra change of shoes. Summer is hardly rubber boot weather.

i think you should worry more about the she-pee. women across london finally able to whiz on your shoes while you ride the tube. ew.

this is good, I'm starting to see sense of my madness. I guess I should just be more confident and less fearful. Bombs go off almost everyday in the middle east, but the people there still carry on their lives. I shall do the same.
