most europeans who speak english know the language better than i do. you learn it the proper way; i learn it with the slang (and see, i dont even think i used the colon right).
but lance is the fucking man. sad thing is that next year the tour de lance is just going to be some race in france. you have to give him credit, he trains hard and gets what he deserves.

But armstrong is awesome. He said he wanted to be known as the man who beat cancer, not the man who won the tour

btw. i learned a good deal at school, but we learned both american english and "real english"..
the latter for the most part though..
nowadays i write both "color" and "colour".. i mix it all up and shit..
(look: i just said "and shit" hehe...never learned that in school though!!!!)

Lance is the man, I agree. I think european wants to see more of human quality, the weakness, etc. He's like a machine, dedicated and determined.
I've read a book on him and i totally admire him for what he does and how he does it.
Jan Ullrich said he wants to win while Lance is present otherwise id doesn't mean anything.
i think the next year Tour de France is going to be boring.

Well, I will watch it again next year. but i am just saying that for many cyclists, their goal has been to beat Lance. I think there are some great young riders who will shake the tour next year.

LA has been through a lot and has a ton of critics. The fact that he tell them to kiss his @ss is perfect. He speaks fluent French and yet they still HATE him. That says a lot. The guy behind him will take over the reigns when he is through, cannot recall his name, forgive me Deutschers.

he is no champ like eddy merckx,who won the tour,the vuelta,the giro and all the classics in a year.you can argue those were diff'rent times..but anyway he gets my respect and he is always deserves to win.he is determined he works hard for(especially when you compare to that lazy bum ullrich).and through the cancer he got this determnation.you can split his career up in two parts.before the cancer he was a good classic racer(like musseuw or van petegeme)but through the cancer he learned to never give up,and this is what he shows in the three weeks of the tour;;if you look at him climbimg those mountains...amazing.go lance
