so many questions, so little time..
i really don't know how to do what seems so bloody simple.
what if i need to recreate the EU flag, but with 15 instead of 12 stars..
i know how to rotate/copy the stars in illy, but they should not rotate individually, i also tried making a scatter brush from it but it doesn't distribute evenly!!
i completely ran out of clues as it should be so simple/automated!!!!
anyone??

well why not do some simple geometry:
draw a circle...the stars will be placed on the circle.
draw a line from the center to the top of the circle. rotate and copy this line 15 times by 20°.
place a star at every point where line touches circle.
the end.
