been looking for a solution to backup my music collection and finally figured out a simple and easy way of doing it and wanted to share it even though it might be timeline worthy.
follow these four steps
1) first you change you burning settings from audio cd to data cd in iTunes pref.
2) Then you drag your entire music library into an playlist you made first this project.
3) then you click the burn button
4) it will now fill up the cd/dvd until it's full and then ask for a new one again and again till it's done..
now how easy is that!!
ps. one extra little tip i figured out for the pvn mac user: right click here where you type your replies and select spelling - check spelling as you type.
now there will be a little red line under all teh tehs and other misspells everytime you write em here..- for a better tomorrow

that's nice! i have been backing up my shit on my external, and it's taking up too much room!
dvds is is! a few but i can wipe my external of all that stuff.
ps. jevad, what the fuck happened to your rant about AA? i came back to the box and figured it would be at the top with 200+ replies.

I tried that a little while ago and it works great. Around the 16th dvd it starts to get old though...71gb~

i got 250gig ExHD but i still want to backit up on DVDs.. just in case. DVD is a much safer/better for storage.

if you have lots of stuff, DVD is too small... drives can be just as safe as long as you have redundancy (multiple backup sets, RAID). plus you can find stuff easier searching across all your drives.
