Trying to think of how to say this without being offensive...
But yes, it is typically Catholics, and typically it's mostly South American and Hispanic Catholics who really fall for this stuff. Like up here in Chicago under that bridge.
But whenever these things happen, I usually get the impression that these people are not that well off in life, come from poor areas of town, seem uneducated, work low paying jobs, etc.
I'm not one to judge, but some of the people they've interviewed up here on the news seemed to fit that profile to a T. MANY of them.
