So, sadly, I have no pic of my beautiful yellow Datsun 210 from my high school days, but I can describe all the accessories:
Yosemite Sam "Back Off" mudflaps.
Black shrunken head hanging from rearview mirror
4x4 decals applied over drivers and passenger side door locks
14 ball on the shifter
Back window covered in skateboard stickers and a big Beastie Boys sticker
Really cool black/white fabric/vinyl seatcovers my grandfather put in.
Ceramic Piranha below rear window
Trunk full of skateboards, broken and new, also one of those roller racer toys we used to cruise into traffic on late at night. (Not very safe...)I miss it so much.

Hell yes. I miss that car so much, nearly brings me to tears.
The coolest part of it was that the brakes worked as well as you could push your foot down. They were hydraulic, but thanks to the car being rear wheel drive, you could pump the brakes when pulling up to a stop and it looked like it had hyrdaulics.
Seriously. It wouldn't hop off the ground, but the bottom of the front frame would smack the ground.
Once got it to do it 22 times in a row slowing down from 55.Used to take such a dare with it by driving the highway 45 minutes to a skatepark in Dallas, TX. It was only a 4 speed and I always thought it would explode.

Hahahh -
My Datsun 310 was tan and i mosdef had some skate stickers on it - I will dig out a picture when i get home tonight - will have a pic tomorrow.
I had my dad build a speaker box for the back and i covered it with a Vaurnet towel - cuz that wuz the shiznit in the 80's.

My grandfather gave it to me because I needed a way to get to summer school because I failed geometry... :(
He had always helped the grandkids out with cars and such, I was the last person to have the Datsun which he bought new in 1979 I think. It still had the original receipt in the glove box, I think it was $6,000.The AC didn't work and I would kill to have that car in Chicago.
It would be a nightmare on ice though!
- mg330
spendogg my dad wouldn't get me a cd player for it because he felt it would be worth more than the car!
My next car was a new 95 Ford Probe which I got at the beginning of my senior year in high school. Never drove the Datsun again and my dad eventually gave it to a school that helps kids rebuild cars and such.

My buddy had a Datsun Pickup truck - we called it the Adobe Cuz he never washed it. The front right fender was all fucked up - we would get drunk and scratch our names and draw shit on it.

Fuckin A MG you were driving that thing in the 90's? Well come to think of it, mine died in 89 - so pretty close.

From summer of 94 to October 95.
I remember being so worried my friends were going to ride me pretty hard for having a frikin yellow car...something old...
First time they saw it they flipped out. It went well with the whole "skateboarding, thrift store clothes, play in a band" thing.
Can't remember if I ever kissed a girl in it, I think so?

hilux pick up
and it did explode, twice. both times a rod pushed through the engine block coating the truck and my friends in the bed with oily smoke

I miss my 1972 datsun 280z. That thing was outragous, I put headers and a new cam just after I bought it. The stock speedometer went as high as 320 mph or something like that. I never had a chance to see if it really could go that fast. After 6 months the front suspension buckled sending me over a curb and almost into a corner store.

My Dad had a 120Y Datsun Van. My childhood holds teh best memories of that

My speedometer broke eventually.
One time we smoked the entire thing FULL of Swisher Sweets cigars, I could barely see to drive.
