He's guilty of being a blustery wank at times, but not of this (I think). He's an easy target because all the way through the trade emabargo he has been right in their faces and right there on the ground in Iraq trying to do something for hte people there. His meeting (the "indefatigability" speach) with Saddam was ill advised potentialy, but it doesn't make him a "collaborator".
1-0 to him, but we'll see how it pans out.

Any Americans have an opinion on George Galloways performance?
Personally I thought he said eliquently and intelligently what 90% of the world thinks.

He represents the opposite of what Right Wingers and/or Republicans and/or Conservatives and/or any phoney represenatives all want.

And he's doing a fantastic job!
What has not been said is how conveniently this came to a head last week. The Senate document came out of the blue, Galloway certainly didn't know it was coming. All just 2 weeks after snatching a parliamentary seat from his former employer and neue arch-enemy Tony Blair. An underhand attempt to muddy his name and shatter his credibility?
I knew the moment they accepted his ultimatum to come to Washington that they didn't know what they were in for. The Senate even tried to delay the hearing to prepare and familiarise themselves with the details of their own report!
Give George a soapbox and there's no way he'll pass up such an opportunity, with such an important captive audience, to tell you how it is.
