Mate Danny has just got back from piloting chinnoks from iraq. Was tell us about US troops trying to shoot him down. His co-pilot decked one of the chaps invloved saying something like how many chinook's do the iraqis have!
Gets his court marshall this summer, for pulling that stunt.

no i've never seen Top Gun. Always looked as boring as fuck to me. Whenever me dad had it on video or it was on tele. No it was me grandads war time tales of derring-do that inspired me to wanna join the armed forces as a nipper. Did a brief spell in the Army Cadets. Then saw a couple of straight-to-video bottom-shelf early 90s airforce movies, can't rememebr they names. I fink Iron Eagle was one of em. Made switch to Air Cadets. Lost me virginity at the British Air base in Germany, and promptly left the service.
