jayzus. i hadn't felt homesick in all my ten (ouch! eleven!) years of carpetbagging until this thread came along.
and now my head's all lost up in the velvety spine of the cascadian rockies with the blackberries and the hotsprings and the wild, raging rivers.

Everyone feels like that on some days. A lot of it is to do with status anxiety, which is magnified by advertising and the media but has always been around really.
It feels worse in london because there are so-oo many talented people in this town and everyone else seems like they're doing so well!
You've just got to believe in yourself and your way of doing things, and try not to get too hung up on comparing yourself to other people.
Just by having creative jobs we are luckier than 99% of people in this world.
