a agree with version3 that the book idea isn't very feasible, nor an NT gallery show, but the print exchange is doable and so was the FMT player...
I mean you could possibly do the book, but not as the original idea was presented. At the end of the day any of these ideas are possible but peoples feelings may get hurt in the process or a lot of work may go into the initiative then go no where...

Maybe someone could talk AntiGirl into making some limited hand bound editions of the submissions if everyone ponied up the prints themselves, if we did something like that, lets do it for ourselvs vs. making a profit. there would have to be some rules, but doable. i like it.

exactly spendogg, I wouldn't even bother with the antigirl angle. I'm sure once we got a pagination together with some samples of pages we could even look at a printer producing say 100 digitally, fuck they could even put their logo on the back of the thing and they could even use it as a promo...

it could work. There is a lot of talent that rolls in and out of this place. People come here for inspiration. I think an NT book would sell.

the money would have to go to charity
a mock up would need to be made, a one off of sorts to pitch
all of the files would need sent to a single user/person/entity so that it could be assembled
people would have to get over themselves as if someone else compiles the book a flow of images will need to be decided
if it says nt or newstoday anywhere on it QBN will want involved for quality control so no work they dont approve makes it in, because in reality we would be trading off of thier name
a good idea yes but please everyone keep a very open mind if you want to see it progress
