i think cos the people who run the site are busy working and making money.
Thomas and Jessey rock it well but they work insanely too much. Maybe one day they'll have more time on their hands to make all you scrubs happy :)

think it's a case of lake of time and passion. it must be very hard to maintain the energy and focus to run a design type daily.

dik redesigned not long ago as did the K.
nt pretty much took a bunch of good ideas that all the other portals were using and threw in the pbs to steal the show and then all the other stuff just added the knockout punch

You guys do realize that all those people who run those sites are friends and are all involved in those projects across the board.
Many of them are working on new projects together or have worked on Newstoday. For instance, you all know and love Mike Buzzard, who worked on both k10k and Newsoday. Unfortunately those people are doing so much they're spread a lil thin.
Props to them for keeping the whole community together in different ways. They all seem to keep it fresh... and now are doing a lot of speaking, workshops and other things.
