It's been a while since i have throwen myself to the lions, and now somehow seens like a good time to do it again..
I would mainly like to know what you think of the usability, look and speed of the website.

why do you have this ginormous tear on top of the work area?
The horizontal wipe from left to right (after the preloader has run) is a little choppy. Are you actionscripting it? If not, you should.

part of the site is getting cut off in my browser (the right side).
But I am using an antique browser so ignore me (ie 5)

The illustration is great.
But I have to say that I hate the navigation. Really sick of the interfacy navigation that I have to roll over to see. Very non-Tufte.
It's a busy world, and unless you are super popular, who is going to take the time to roll over everything to see what is there?

Luckypp, the reason i have rollover buttons, is i don't like text buttons.. but you got a point. Mayeb there is a middle way to it.. i don't know

it's a bit flat...the nav kind of blends down into the work...could be separated with some depth...would be nice to somehow indicate the current piece in the nav...also i don't really like how the link description follows the mouse while inside the link, maybe just have it follow horizontally and leave it's _y the same...maybe thumbnails for the links? cropped, not resized tho

designerror, i should send you shots of my progression into my new site. i think i went through 6 or 7 different designs before settling on the one i have now. (not that it's the greatest thing on earth, but i like it). i think you need to push your's a bit further. it's at the middle point between a good simple site, and a well developed site. it's like it doesn't know which way it is supposed to go ya know. in hiatus. (sp?).
it's a nice concept taht needs just a bit more... or less ya know.
keep at it. you're almost there. nice work inside it though.

why am i scrolling at 1024x768....it should just work
how many FPS is that movie? it should be higher to produce a smoother transition.
the "@" sign could mousover to an actual email address for those that dont use mailto:
also i feel as tho the grey is slightly tired. it feels like the old NT or windows 95 ish...
add some more content too!

Ok man...you obviously have a kick ass style somewhere in there...because those illustrations are great! But this site doesn't look like the guy who did the illustrations. Push yourself a bit more man...decent start now kill it!
