not sure I like the way that it scrolls when you view the images on the right hand edge for example... otherwise yeah, I like it.

well i like the way it scrolls right :P
id maybe put a horizontal scroller at the top or bottom so the user knows there ARE images to the right.
or maybe you could create a "map" showing where the user "is" on the layout to give them idea of the hidden photos to the right.so is this fully dynamic? are you posting straight from yoru phone to live online??

konspiracy, it's pulling in xml and external images, but i have to upload them...i looked into just doing it from my phone but that's to heavy for me...
btw if anyone is interested in collaborating on doing something like that i'm down...

The user may need to get to images with out having to click on images on the right. I didn't know there were more images. I lke the simple nav, not sure on the colour though. A map would be an interesting feature. Good site. Perhaps you could include the time the pics were taken.

try yafro.com signup and you can post pics straight from your phone onto a galery/blog.
dunno if itd work but you might be able to pull the images in from there.some of the mobile companies have online galleries that u can post your images up to - also worth a try?

good job.. i wish on th elower images that the square grew toward the top left rather than bottom right for zooming in.. not sure how to code that though

One thing: I have to keep my cursor on a photo in order to keep it enlarged, but then I can't enjoy the photo because the cursor is in the way. Photos are meant to be looked at unobstructed.

good idea greg, maybe that will fix it. thanks everyone for your critiques - i think this is the largest critique i've ever seen on here that didn't get all funky and include multiple tangents. :)
