for a friend charge as low as you can.... if he can afford more....charge more.....he hooks you up.....and you hook him up...
on another note though.....NEVER UNDERCHARGE..... you kill it for the rest of us...

first: 400 British Pound = 755.040 US Dollar !and: wtf?? If I'd charge a friend $755 for a cms I would definately have problems with him.. He'd tell me : ur insane kid.

das' right , lat week I made a site for a friend of mine, with cms and all, ( http://zzorba.tk )
He gave me a huge set of 2 canvas and some drawings i chose. so if you can help a friend he/she wont forget and get back to you when you need. or else, he's not a friend.

i made a site for a really good friend for free.. i would never charge a good buddy anything
and i made a photography site for "just a friend" in exchange for free photo service that i have been using quite alot, and now i'm making a easy and simple site for my photo friend's friend for a grand, because she like the photosite
guess it was worth it after all

Amendments to chosen visual
Production & Development
Coded to XHTML/CSS & PHP Standards (validating to W3C.org standards)Set Up of CMS using a PHP/MySQL backend
Testing in IE5+, Safari, Firefox/Mozilla
Admin Area - Access to any feedback/user comments areas you may wish to add
Population of site with your initial supplied text/photos
