meok, does that mean i don't need a new card for my 2nd monitor? if so, how would i connect the mother?

That card supports dual monitor setups. There should be 2 monitor jack on it, it they look different, one may need a DVI adapter to plug in the second monitor.

those mother.... you dont want to mess with those

yeah, i believe all 9800's have dual outputs on them, one dvi and one vga. i'm not 100% sure on that though, since many 9x00 cards only have one output. if that's the cast, you do need another card (or trade your single 9800 to someone for a dual.. etc...)

mr/mrs meok and mr/mrs jpea, i love you both in a totally platonic way.
there are what look like 2 inputs, one standard blue input
and next to that a funky white input....is that what you're talking about meok?
what's the adapter called and how muchis it?me = owe you one.
