Sorry son, I didn't mean to judge, but I asked you in that thread after you posted that quote if that was how you felt and you never replied, so I assumed that was your view.

sorry, i just didnt get your point.
but im sure if black designers submitted more work to threadless you'd see more black designers.. and as far as the 'models' - isnt it just the threadless guys? and then the user-uploaded photos?
all to say, i dont think you really have a point

Thats all that wears Abercrombie is White preppy people - thats keepin' it real.
- radar0
look in his Personal Projects section.

i do have a problem with abercrombie however.
i've never been into one of their stores, but i hear they have t-shirts for little girls that read 'blondes rule!' and stuff... and i've yet to see a black person in any of their ads... which is fucked up.
- ********0
its no black people.
ok, so what, its like that on tv all the time, its like that on movies
ok, we all know that, i aint trippin bout that.
i just for once, looked threw every tshirt on threadless, to show my girl, being as tho she wants something different for this new years to wear...
i just seen her reaction to it, she really likes the shirts, as do i, but i can tell someone like her, knowin only what i tell and teach her about design, seeing them on a website for her to buy from, she'll be a little distant from finishing a paypal form or however you buy from there.
and if you watched BET which you may or may not...the Abercrombie and Fitch case, however you spell it, was very big, now they are doing a re:marketing plan or whatever, and they have some more black staff, and more culturally diverse modelling cast or whatever the fuck
'i'm over your head understand me?
you could try but wait
you couldnt under stand me
even if you were five foot 8'
- tuig0
just let it go...

mr. snuggles, you and nick have shown me the best of both worlds on nt
nick, goes and emails me,
you just often shout me out when you see me.
both of you turned when i posted this thread...lol
i just thought that was funny
oh and
i dont have to explain myself, ie not responding to your question.
hence what i said in the first post of this topic, i dont care what people do in their personal life,
it just fucks me up when the kids see it, how they do, they should see it how it really is, let the audience spread however it does, dont force it to be a certain audience, thats to the media
but media will never be good unless you make it so
so

i cant believe you're even comparing the 2 to be perfectly honest.
and you are a drama whore.

"show me a picture of one person of another color on threadless, or at least one of my color"
You know they don't hire model for those shots right? Its up to you to make a diffrence son!
- saroose0
son-i think you are the one who is racist by even noticing the colour of the people on the site. Stop looking for an issue where there isn't one
- Spix0
hmm...I only use with guys on the product pictures on my site...but hey, i'm white...blame my parents.
- rasko40
if you buy a t-shirt from threadless (which was formed by two web developers who just happen to be white) then you can take a pic of yourself, upload it to the site and be the first black dude to be on threadless.
- -leah-0
son i am sure you have a very valid point, but your grammar is so bad i can't understand what you are trying to say!
- gruntt0
cotton is racist.
- ********0
so who heard about the abercrombie law suit?
i mean , that was my joke like
i'ma sue threadless...
- tuig0
u could shine like halle berry..
sorry ;)
- sherman0
i'ma lost?
- ********0
ohh it was a joke! lol
dude your threads are so misleading! stop being misleading and we'll stop being jerks... for real.
- ********0
folks i figured it out.
son wanted to address the issues that this rather large abercrombie suit raises. and being a smart motherfucker he related it to our puny little irrelevant design world... by using threadless as an example.. he didn't actually mean that threadless was racist.
im right, right?
