DVD RIP

I have G4 with a DVD ROM, and some DVD's I want to rip to QT or something. The DVD's in question are from my uncle and contain .VOB files...
Is this possible? And how... I'm new to this..

I think there is a mac tute on there using QT i think.
It's dead easy on a PC if you can't get it to work on yor mac.

ok.. the mac OS9. I can copy the .vob files to the PC and then convert.... Is there an app for that?

no no. Handbrake wont work for OS 9. So - I've copied the .vob files to my PC and I want to find an App to then convert those to .mov etc...

its a pain in the ass to do. i had to do it a while back and it involved so many programs i have forgotten the process

Well I found this YASASOFT software that'll do it... but it only does 1/3 of the lengh until you pay... :(
