Is it just me or is this year a serious pain in the ass?
I'm going to have it's ass kicked by big burly men... For me, too many deaths, too much illness, too many broken marriages, not nearly as much fun to be had as 2003.
And today, a wonderful guy I flew out all the way to meet in Georgia is dying. We were going to meet in Ireland so he could drink real beer in a real pub. He's 50.
Fuck this year...

I broke my foot/leg in the snow in January, so right out of the gate it was pretty crappy.
But other than that, summer weather has been great, had a few nice vacations, had a promotion to our marketing department in January, getting ready to blast my band to the masses, I'd say the year is pretty nice so far.

Well it's good to hear some had a good time.
Thing is, all the bad shit is happening to my friends. For me it's just been a dull year... I blame the fact that there were no Jane's Addiction gigs and no Fishbone. That made 2003.

this year started off okay.....I don't like election years....it gets ugly.
I work for a company that I've been tryin to get out of for months but can't seem to get hired elsewhere....I think my interview skills are lacking..
otherwise, it's been a decent year....I won an iPod
