haha I'm on a really really dirty monitor.

yeah, I wanted that animation to be pretty muted--it grows slowly as you look through the site--but it may be too muted, I guess. It looks pretty visable on my laptop, but I haven't seen it on other monitors.
thanks fellas

I hardly noticed the frilly and fancy animated hummingbird and vegetal forms until I had been looking at the site for 5 minutes. I think it might be a nice touch to have that little bird by your logo- that part in the grey is just so different in aesthetics than the nav/viewing part of the site and it looks fresh. Maybe make it a little more visible- or maybe u want to just make it a suprise.... I think its too tight to be so muted though.

i think it's all good in the hood.
i'm not generalising here, i think the site is fucking spot-on all around

thanks, good feedback, I've been flip-flopping on the navigation and the font. I'm not crazy about trebuchetMS but I've seen it look good on a few sites as the CSS font. So just a simple roll-over you suggest?

Hey nice start! I think everything to the left of the main nav is great. Maybe spend a little more time on your logo something about it strikes me as off. Your nav buttons don't need to jump or move, it seems jerky and doesnt match the tempo of the rest of the site. Oh and I'm not sure I really like the font choice on the main nav, it looks a little too elegant for your elegant site (if that makes any sense). Basically I recommend cleaning up that whole nav portion if not scrapping it and starting fresh, it just seems wack and un-fitting for the rest of the site which is great IMO.
