I run a community site that's in for a major revamp: http://www.determinedmoth.org
ID as such is none existent I'm trying to develop a logo that can be reproduced easy as pie - icons, t-shirts, potato stamps... etc. I'm a better web developer than designer (I am both), so can people tell me what they think of these:

lose #2try different fonts on the other 2 for the bottom type, I'm prefferring the lower case..
try using a font that is less 'curvy' for the top bit.. am I missing some significance on the d/6 symbol?

it's actually Legato Expert.... it's a l/c latin d...

it's look a bit unbalanced. you know what you can do. delete the left paw *) of the "m" so that you only have the middle and right paw left (with the curves) move it over to the left so it overlaps the partial difference symbol just a bit. or leave the m as it is, move it over to the left so it overlaps that symbol in a way that the bottom of the left paw sticks out under that symbol and thus making it more a d.

also, work with black type on white first without any colours. that way you can see if it's powerfull enough. add colours later. colours dilute a bit in the initial stage.

I think I need to tighten up the space between the URL and logotype so it's equal with the gap in the "paws"... Might upset how it fits in the square though...

you should take care of the url later. is it the jpg export or does it seem that the "paws" (can someone please say what the right term is) of the "m" aren't straight?
