Nice one Chip.
Throw some of your work at me so I can get what I really want...
"Did you buy a Porsche yet?"
"You know, I was thinking about buying a Porsche"

STIs are sweet. But be prepared to buy a new clutch every 2 years as subaru use the clutch as a psuedo fuse for the drive train.
upgrade the clutch and blow the gear box, seen it happen a few times... 3 of the lads here have them.
too much grib for their own good

o god no, not the Saab 92x, the love child of 2 retarded GM suits. you'd think with the designs these 2 companies have come up with over the years, you'd think they'd put a bit more effort into it.
you're basically paying extra for those Saab badges. you might as well buy the WRX STi if your going to spend close to 30k. you get SOOOOOO much more with the STi.

I'm riding with roadster power Peter. BMW M-Roadster.

- blackspade0
agree bout the RWD
u cant really get an FTO sideways unless u use the handbrake
- slappy0
Im telling you dude get a rear driver, much more fun on those wet streets... FTOs sound ok if you keep them above 4k revs so you can hear the v-tec
- Peter0
Ha. So what are you riding Chip?
- Chip0
yeah, a bit posh they are Peter.
There's another one called Michael Lay motors or something advertised all the time in metropolis. Could try them. I just don't trust the guy in their picture for some reason...:)
- Peter0
Yeah, I saw them yesterday. But they only, erh mainly, carry luxurious cars, right?
- Chip0
Peter, these guys are supposed to be quite good, over in Meguro.

Chip, awesome site, thanks man.
Blackspade, I agree with you, that Porsches looks isn't really appealing.
Basically what I want is something that looks good. I am going to be stuck in the Tokyo traffic anyways, so what I want is the car to look good while in there. Might be shallow perhaps.
Haha, just like the first reply, I want a boy racer.
http://japanusedcar.net/auction/…But actually I've been staring a bit at the Impreza too. Still, looks are pretty much what i am looking for.
Cars are a steal here. Sometimes they nearly give away cars here cause of the Shaken checkups. Pay around 15 dollars for a checkup in the states, but have to pay about 1000 dollars a year here.

tru,
yea there is still a lot of red-tape here tho to get a jap import road worthy
- slappy0
New Zealand has the best import scene, stupid australian import rules/taxes
Im go to New Zealand in december to hunt for car goodies.
plus i have a friend competing in the NZD1 drift comp
